The animation industry encompasses a variety of roles, each with distinct differences. As I mentioned before, I believe I could excel as a character designer. I have a knack for creating characters and designing distinctive features for them. Silhouettes and element extraction are excellent methods for character design, and I approach character exploration from different angles to delve into various aspects. Moreover, I have interviewed veterans in the industry who have shared numerous stories, providing me with valuable experience.
Alternatively, becoming a freelancer might be a good option for me. Over the past few years, I have taken on commissions online, earning some money. I believe that as I improve my skills, I will have better opportunities in the future.
I have also thought about becoming an animation director or starting my own studio to create animation projects that interest me. One day, I might have a burst of inspiration and create an animation clip that sparks a heated discussion online. This could attract investors who see the opportunity and flood me with funding, hoping I can complete the animation. This would allow me to achieve my dream smoothly (what a wonderful dream that is). However, at present, I lack sufficient funds and experience, so this idea has to be temporarily shelved. I hope that one day in the future, this dream can truly come true 🙂
